Either they are completely inept or a bunch of thieving bastards. Brought my car in 2 weeks ago because lights on the dash were staying on. After a paying $125 was told it was because my gas cap wasn't on tight enough. I then asked if the lights came back on would I have to pay $125 again. Was told yes because my tire would have to be removed. Got in my car and wheel lock tool that had been in the back was magically on the passenger seat. Then I'm out and when I go to start the car the dash lights (same as before) come on and nothing happens. Call Beard Subaru and service rep says it sounds like the battery. When I questioned this because it had recently been in they're shop and they didn't pick it up he said to not let the tow truck driver try to jump it so he could figure out what was happening. When the tow truck arrived and opened the hood it wad clear to everyone that there wad an issue with the battery. Had the battery replaced at Sears and all is well. How a place that services these cars and has all the fancy diagnostic equipment couldn't figure this out the first time. Who knows what I would have been told had I had the car towed in. My household had purchased 4 cars over 5 years from Beard and I can say I will not be buying anymore here. That all said Chris in the sales dept. is great and made our car buying experience seamless.
