ORLEANS — State Rep. Sarah Peake rolled to victory in the Democratic Primary for the Barnstable 4th District state representative race on Tuesday.Peake received 7,991 votes against challenger Jack Stanton, who received 1,030 votes. The eight-term legislator will run unopposed in the general election in November. The Republican party hasn't furnished an opponent for Peake since Orleans Selectman Dave Dunford ran against her in 2010.Peake attributed her victory to the hard work of campaigning and "my 16 years of vigorous representation of the wonderful people of the 4th Barnstable.
