There were 7,936 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Massachusetts, increasing the total cases to 1,860,512 since the pandemic began, the state Department of Public Health reported on Thursday.In their weekly report, state officials also noted 1,068 new probable cases of coronavirus for a statewide total of 169,823.As of Sept. 13, 182 patients were primarily hospitalized with COVID-19-related illnesses and 591 total patients were hospitalized with COVID-19, the state agency reported.Forty-eight patients were in intensive care units, or ICUs, statewide and 14 patients were intubated.
