Hyannis Star Motor Inn in Barnstable, Massachusetts

Outdated electrical. 2 outlets, 1 with power strip. Plugged in phone charger and blew electricity out. Had to change rooms in the heat. Returned to room after midnight after a long dance competition to find the room infested with ants. Had to throw away all toiletries. Was hung up on when I called to complain. I called again later in morning and was told I couldn't get a refund because I stayed. It was after midnight on the busiest vacation week of the year and I had two exhausted daughters who had to be up early. Hotels were sold out because of dance comp. I was told by Nadia that she hopes the motel does go out of business because she doesn't want to work there anyway. Disgusting and bug infested. I asked a woman who was also staying there as I was leaving if she had any problems and she said she had ants in her room, too. Absolutely unacceptable and horrendous customer service. I have filed complaints with MasterCard, my bank, and the Better Business Bureau. Save your money and stay far far away from this place.
